Deposit & Cancellation Policy
To reserve your move date, Elite Star Movers requires a deposit: $100 for local hourly moves, 15% of your quoted price for local flat-rate moves, or 10% of your quoted price for long-distance moves, paid by credit or debit card, Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Your deposit is applied in full to your final bill.
If you cancel more than 72 hours before your scheduled move, we refund your deposit in full. If you cancel within 72 hours, your deposit is non-refundable because we’ve reserved a crew for your move that usually can’t be rebooked on short notice; no other cancellation charge applies.
If you reschedule more than 72 hours ahead, your deposit moves to your new date. If Elite Star Movers cancels, we refund your deposit in full.
