No Truck Fees, Ever

Local moves are priced by the hour based on the size of your crew. Your price is based on the crew, whether your move needs one truck or several. There is no truck fee. Travel time is listed separately on your quote, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

What’s Included in a Local Move

• Furniture protection: moving pads, wrap, and straps on your furniture.
• Free disassembly and reassembly: beds, tables, chairs, desks, and other furniture that comes apart.
• Floor and doorway care: our crews protect high-traffic paths and plan how big pieces will come out and go in.
• Loading in a planned order: the truck is loaded so heavy pieces ride low and fragile ones ride safely.
• Placement at your new home: furniture and boxes go into the rooms you choose.
• Final walk-through: we check closets, the garage, and the attic so nothing gets left behind.

How Your Local Move Works

1. Tell us what is moving. Submit your inventory online or call us with your addresses, dates, and anything big like a piano, a safe, or gym equipment.
2. Pre-move survey and estimate. Every move starts with a pre-move survey of what is moving, stairs and access at both homes, and any special items. Our team returns quote calls, answers your questions, and sends your estimate.
3. Reserve your date. A deposit holds your crew and is applied in full to your final bill. Details are on our deposit and cancellation policy page.
4. Move day. Hector Jr leads the crew. We protect, load, move, and set up your things, then walk through with you before we leave.

How to Keep Your Local Move Efficient

Because local moves are hourly, a little preparation saves real time:

• Have boxes packed, taped, and labeled before the crew arrives.
• Reserve elevators and loading areas, and tell us about gate codes and HOA rules.
• Save a parking spot close to the door at both homes if you can.
• Empty dresser drawers of anything heavy, loose, or breakable.
• Set aside what you are taking in your own car so it does not get loaded by mistake.

Local moves are priced by the hour based on how many movers you need. Trucks are included, one or several, with no truck fee. Travel time is listed separately on your quote.

Do you charge extra for trucks?

No. Whether your move needs one truck or several, there is no truck fee on local moves.

Do you take apart and put back together furniture?

Yes. Disassembly and reassembly of beds, tables, and other furniture is part of our local moving service at no extra charge.

Do you move single items?

Yes. Single-item moves are welcome, whether it is one piece of furniture or a small load.

Do you do a pre-move survey?

Yes, always. Every move starts with a pre-move survey, where we go over what is moving, access at both locations, and any special items before move day, so the crew, trucks, and plan are right.

What affects how long my move takes?

The amount you are moving, stairs and elevators, how far the truck can park from the door, the distance between homes, and how much is packed and ready when the crew arrives.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can, especially for month-end dates and summer weekends, which fill up first. If your date is close, call us anyway and we will be upfront about availability.

How do I pay?

We accept credit and debit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay. A deposit reserves your date and is applied to your final bill. See our deposit and cancellation policy.
