Ruby Ranch Movers – Buda, TX

Ruby Ranch sits just west of Buda off RM 967, where Ruby Ranch Road turns south into one of the area’s most established acreage communities. Homes here are custom builds on lots of roughly one to seven acres, with mature live oaks, horse fencing on some properties, and gated sections behind private entrances. Moving a household out here is different from moving in a tract subdivision, and Elite Star Movers plans for that from the first conversation.

We are a family owned and operated moving company based in Buda, TX, with 20+ years in business. Every move starts with a pre-move survey (a video call works), and Hector Jr leads the crew on move day. We Can Handle It. Serving People & Protecting Furniture, Peace by Piece.

Ruby Ranch and Nearby Areas We Serve

The country side of Buda runs along RM 967 and FM 1626. We move families in and out of all of these areas:

  • Ruby Ranch: south of RM 967 by way of Ruby Ranch Road, with homes built from the late 1990s on and a mix of gated and non-gated sections.
  • Elliott Ranch: north of RM 967 and west of FM 1626, a gated community with private roads and homes mostly on lots of about 1.5 to 2 acres.
  • Leisurewoods: at FM 1626 and RM 967, just outside the Buda city limits, with single-story ranch homes from the early 1980s on half-acre-plus lots under big trees.
  • Oxbow Trails: off RM 967, with older homes on parcels of about one to three acres.
  • Coves of Cimarron: just north of RM 967 and east of FM 1626, with half-acre-plus lots and mature trees.

Farther west, RM 967 keeps going toward RM 1826 and the Driftwood area. If that’s where you’re headed, see our Driftwood movers page.

Neighborhood names are used only to describe where we work. Elite Star Movers is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any homeowners association, developer, or water supply corporation in these communities.

What Makes a Ruby Ranch Move Different

Gates and private entrances

Parts of Ruby Ranch sit behind gates, and Elliott Ranch has gated entrances and private roads. During your pre-move survey we’ll ask how the crew and the truck get in on move day. You might meet us at the gate, open it for the arrival window, or arrange access the way your community handles it. We’d rather settle that early than have a crew waiting at the entrance.

Long driveways, septic systems and old oaks

Many acreage homes west of Buda use septic systems, and drain fields don’t mix with a loaded moving truck. We’ll ask where yours is so we can park clear of it. Low live oak limbs over a driveway can also be a problem for a tall truck. We look at both on the survey and decide where to park. Sometimes that means a longer walk with dollies and floor runners, and we plan the crew for it, so it doesn’t come as a surprise on move day.

Shops, barns and outbuildings

Out here a move is rarely just the house. Garages, workshops, barns and sheds fill up with tools, workbenches, tack, gym equipment, patio sets, grills and kids’ play gear. Show us the outbuildings during the survey so they’re on the plan and the quote. Then nothing gets “found” in the barn at the end of the day.

Big custom homes

Custom homes on acreage tend to have large sectionals, heavy dining tables, armoires, and stone or hardwood floors that need protecting. We pad and wrap furniture, protect floors and doorways, and take apart and put back together what needs it. If you have a piano, see our piano moving service. Moving In, Moving Out, or Downsizing

We handle every kind of move to and from Ruby Ranch and the RM 967 area:

How Pricing Works

Local moves are priced by the hour by crew size, no truck fee, travel time listed separately on your quote. Long distance moves come with a flat-rate price guarantee. The pre-move survey is how we get the crew size and the plan right for a property with a long driveway, gates and outbuildings, so your quote reflects your actual home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you move homes in the gated sections of Ruby Ranch and Elliott Ranch?

Yes. We go over gate access during your pre-move survey, so the crew and truck have a plan to get in on move day. That might be meeting us at the gate or arranging access the way your community normally does.

My home is on septic. Will the moving truck damage it?

Not if we know where the system is. Tell us, or show us on the survey, where your septic tank and drain field are, and we’ll park clear of them, even if that means a longer carry.

Can you move things from my barn, workshop or shed?

Yes. Tools, workbenches, tack, patio furniture and outdoor gear can all go on the plan. Show us every outbuilding during the survey so it’s included in the quote and the crew size.

Do I need an in-home visit for a quote?

Every move includes a pre-move survey, and a video call works. Walk us through the house, the driveway and any outbuildings, and we’ll build the plan from that.

How do you price a move from Ruby Ranch?

Local moves are priced by the hour by crew size, no truck fee, travel time listed separately on your quote. Long distance moves come with a flat-rate price guarantee.
